You have a problem with your HP Mini or Notebook that not canstand by when you close the lid. This is not a big deal. Go to the control panel > system > hardware > device manager > display adapter. If you find display adapter on VGA mode, so this is the to go to your HP Mini or notebook site to download video/VGA driver. Update display driver and then check whether your display adapter : Intel, NVidia, or ATI back to normal. Then go to Control Panel > power options > Advance > power button and other option. You can now hibernate your HP Mini/notebook by doing same thing like above but you click option hibernate. Try this. Do not hesitate 'coz it is not necessary to change the BIOS.
